The project was completed in February 2009 and became such a big experience for students as for locals who helped in its construction. Important principles such as bracing, saving material and prevention of moisture that can lead to learning may be more sustainable building tradition in the future. TYIN Tegnestue is a group of students who designed the project architect Soe Tie Ker Ornamental in Noh Bo, Tak, Thailand. Name translation project is “Butterfly’s house. ” The project includes six small prefab house made of iron wood (tropical wood). These homes provide accommodation for 50 local children.

Cross laminated solid wood panels and finished this volume with slatted wood panels and shiny. Wood panel also includes many interior walls and finished wax. Two-level home is connected by an open spiral staircase plywood. There is also an indoor swimming pool and double garage on the site. This house was designed as a new contemporary family home to replace the existing bungalow on site 400 meters square. It’s located in Ulcombe, Kent. The construction process is optimized as much as possible with the prefabrication of many elements. Green technology is used as much as possible in a series of rectangular volumes on two levels around a courtyard screened.

This project is called Boxhome and more ecologically friendly and economical than regular home construction. Although the house was not the main choice for a family home, it’s great as a summer home or cottage. Prefabricated house has four rooms include basic life functions: kitchen with dining room, bathroom, living room and bedroom. With such a minimalist, modern look at the house could become very popular in Scandinavian countries. The weather in Northern Europe is very unstable. Usually the houses must be heated for more than half a year in a row.
