
Modern prefab house by Anderson Anderson Architecture
Many elements in the vicinity of the house that is created exclusively by artists who happen to be friends, friends of the owners. While prefab homes are usually simple and does not differ from one another, this house was designed by Anderson Anderson Architecture becomes a truly unique home. This prefab complex situated on a hill near Granite Falls, Washington, about an hour outside of Seattle. This site has a lot of beauty in the vicinity but did not have electricity, water or road. Because the condition of prefabricated structures are chosen to overcome the difficult nature of the site. Frames are made of steel covered with a panel of 4-by-22-foot, which acts as a wall. Panels follow a simple pattern that leaves an open space for windows floor to ceiling throughout the house that dramatic capture awesome views around.
Extravagant house design by Baqueratta
There was popular Japanese manga series in the mid 60’s to early 70’s where one character always was saying the word “Baqueratta”. Nowadays there is an architecture firm called Baqueratta in Tokyo led by Yoshiyuki Moriyama. They specialize in building contemporary minimalist small and middle sized residences. One of their latest works is AC House. Awesome combination of black and light gray colors on the house’s exterior and combination of white and wooden colors in the interior make it comfortable inside and extravagant outside. Purely black courtyard with a tree in the middle is one thing that make this house unforgettable. Using marble around the AC house add it more luxury than its size which isn’t the small one.
